Hey! I'm James
I’m James – or JD!
I’ve been around and about working in Community and Social within the games industry since 2014, and am a huge fan of celebrating people, communication, and creativity.
I head up our Community activities for our games – looking after everything related to Social Media, influencers, Community Management, and live streams. For me, games are and have always been an important way to connect people – establishing lifelong friendships, bringing developers closer to those who play their games, and creating communal experiences people never forget.
Managing a passionate, creative, and knowledgeable community is (on most occasions) an absolute joy, and no two days are ever the same. I have the privilege to work with some super-talented and dedicated individuals, who make coming to work (even remotely) a pleasure.
Outside of work, I’m a keen runner and fitness enthusiast (I’ll be running my first London Marathon in 2021!), a big football fan (a Spurs fan, for my sins), and I love to read, cook, and spend time with friends.
