3D Generalist Artist

Role: 3D Generalist Artist

Team: Euro Fishing

Location: Historic Dockyard, Chatham, UK

To help achieve this ambition, we are looking for a 3D Generalist Artist, reporting into the Development Manager, who will help set the visual bar for our Euro Fishing Lake locations and create ultra-realistic high end quality assets. They will work with the internal fishing team as well as with our 3rd Party content creators to ensure all Fishing lakes and equipment are delivered on time and to a high quality standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Art Director to help set the visual bar for Lakes & Fishing equipment
  • Provide feedback and assistance to 3rd Party developers working on in-game content
  • Working with the engineering team to ensure all Lakes created meet performance benchmarks whilst maintaining a high quality finish
  • Create ultra-realistic, high end quality assets
  • Maintain the right modelling and texture scale consistency across the models
  • Follow art pipelines, workflows and performance budget limitations 

What we look for in you:

  • Strong 3D Studio Max and Photoshop skills
  • Ability to create art assets to a high standard
  • Ability to critically evaluate 3D art and provide effective feedback
  • Strong hard surface modelling skills
  • Experience of Unreal Engine 4 & UE4 Material creation beneficial
  • Good understanding of most CG techniques and technologies
  • Shipped at least one PC or next-gen console title
  • Great communicator and team player with a can-do attitude
  • A passion to deliver quality simulation software
